 SS NOBSKA  Bringing her home

New Video

McCullough video

Recently NESF completed a NOBSKA video that includes a passionate interview with author, David McCullough, extolling the significance of coastal steamers and NOBSKA, as their last survivor. This 40 minute video describes and traces the history of steamships, with emphasis on NOBSKA and her sisterships, since the 1800s. Relaxing on deck, miniature Commentaries by David McCullough and by Bill Fowler, of the Massachusetts Historical Society, make this video the best NESF ever has to offer.

The long missed sights and sounds of "Nobska" playing her trade vividly illustrate the historical significance of saving America's last remaining coastal steamship.
The video can be ordered from NESF. The tape will also become available through Wood's Hole and Mystic Seaport.

In case you're still undecided whether to get involved, watching this moving show will convince you to join our efforts to save "Nobska".
