Website Recreation

ALL HANDS!

Listen Out!

Many of you will recall NOBSKA's professionally prepared website. Sometime this last spring the provider that hosted our site suddenly went belly-up. In their confusion our contact did not transfer NOBSKA's pages to a new host; all our material was lost.

This fall one of our crew retyped most of the initial text for this new site. But you will note that these screens are not nearly as attractive and lively as the orginal. In fact it's altogether pretty dull because many pictures are still missing, and the text is years out-of-date.

You can help!

Editing -
Our typist has never even seen NOBSKA! Therefore the new version may omit details, exaggerate progress and even contain factual errors. You, a knowledgeable friend of NOBSKA, could become our editor. For a few weeks you would work with our webmaster to correct and comment on the material before it becomes generally available via the internet. You don't need to own a PC or know anything about the internet.
Pictures -
NESF's office has some but not nearly all of the pictures featured in the original pages. Missing are for example: Surely, among NOBSKA's crew we can recreate them all. Please find those good clean pictures you have and make them available by contacting NESFWEB@NETSCAPE.NET, calling, or dropping a note. Do not mail in your originals until requested!
News -
Up-to-date content is a major benefit of a website. In our case no news has been added for more than a year and the detailed account of the restoration's progress stops in June 1997! Thus, You, who have been involved those years, can update the restoration log over 1997-2001. In a sense a restoration that is not recorded is again lost.
