Colored Print

Mr. James Mitchell, a well-known local artist from Martha's Vineyard, now living in Rhode Island, has painted SS NOBSKA in oil. The colorful scene depicts our steamer in the company of a contemporary topsail schooner near the horizon. The Edgartown Scrimshaw Gallery commissioned the painting and made a limited number of signed prints. The Galery will donate $50 for each print sold out of the 750 prints. "Steamer MARTHA'S VINEYARD Leaving Ice Bound Nantucket" from a drawing by William Ewing, Jr. shows NOBSKA's sister following a track through the ice towards open water. Size: 13" x 14".

Poster Prints

Notecards

Color prints by well-known marine artist William G. Muller are again available through NESF. These large illustrations have been out of print for 20 years and are not offered anywhere else. Prints are 27" x 14" and feature 4 different steamboats: ALEXANDER HAMILTON, BINGHAMTOM, TICONDEROGA and DELTA QUEEN.
Priced at $5 each.

Notepaper by Trustee William Ewen, Jr. featuring NOBSKA's sistership the NEW BEDFORD, at Pier 9 Wharf of the New England Steamship Company in the 1930s.
